Sizing

Every measurement here is from an actual garment, not a seller’s chart. We order before we list. If it didn’t fit right, it isn’t here.

We measure flat, in centimetres, before the garment is washed. Stretch fabrics are measured unstretched unless noted.

How to measure yourself

Chest: Around the fullest part, arms relaxed at your sides.
Waist: Around your natural waist, or wherever you want the garment to sit.
Hips: Around the fullest part, usually 20–23cm below the natural waist.
Inseam: From the crotch seam to the hem, along the inner leg.

What we measure on each garment

Measurement How we take it
Chest Flat across the chest, doubled
Waist Flat at the waistband, doubled
Hip Flat at the widest point below the waist, doubled
Length From highest point of shoulder or waistband to hem
Inseam Crotch seam to hem, along inner seam
Sleeve From shoulder seam to cuff

Elastic waistbands are measured unstretched unless we note otherwise. Most have significant stretch — we’ll say how much.

A note on seller size charts

We include the seller’s own chart where it’s available, but we’ve found it unreliable more often than not. The measurements we took from the garment are what we stand behind. When there’s a significant difference, we say so in the product notes.
